Elevate’s Monthly Construction Update‍

Elevate is expanding its 100% fiber network into many new areas over the next few years. We're working hard to bring fiber to every corner of DMEA's service territory so all our community members can access the nation's fastest and most reliable internet. Read our monthly construction progress report to see which areas are coming soon!

Unsure if your home is in one of Elevate’s service areas? Checkout our online map. You can also quickly search your address at elevateinternet.com to see if service is available for your home. Enter your address and click Check Availability!

Service available

Our network construction is complete. Elevate internet, TV, and phone service is available for residents in the following zones:

  • City of Delta Zone 1: Service available as of December 17, 2024

In construction

We are currently building our underground and overhead fiberoptic network in the zones listed below. During this phase of construction, our crews will trench or bore for our underground cables, disturbing the ground and dirt within our rights-of-way. Crew members will also use bucket trucks or climb power poles to complete overhead line construction.

  • City of Delta Zone 2: Service expected January 14, 2025
  • City of Delta Zone 3: Service expected February 11, 2025
  • Reconnect 3 Grand View Mesa: Service expected February 2025
  • City of Delta Zone 4: Service expected Spring 2025
  • City of Delta Zone 5: Service Expected Spring 2025

Pre-construction

Pre-construction is the work that needs to be done on DMEA's electric grid before Elevate can put in fiber cables. This includes taking care of trees and plants, replacing poles, moving equipment or wires, and installing fiber equipment in the community. The time it takes to finish pre-construction can vary a lot. Right now, the following areas are in pre-construction:

  • Reconnect 3 Hwy 92
  • Reconnect 3 Lazear
  • Reconnect 3 Redlands Mesa
  • Reconnect 3 Rogers Mesa

Grant funds awarded

Elevate, in partnership with our parent company, Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA), has received almost $61 Million in state and federal grants to help build our fiber network to some of the most rural reaches of our territory. Below is a list of areas we have secured funding to make, but work has not yet begun. Please view our online map to see these areas.

  • Reconnect 3 Somerset
  • Reconnect 3 Grand Mesa
