COVID-19: Support from Elevate

March 19, 2020

MARCH 19, 2020 – As a result of the increasing threat of COVID-19, Elevate Internet has suspended all service disconnects for non-pay, effective immediately.

Elevate understands how important a reliable internet connection is during this unsettling time. And now, more than ever, consumers need a reliable home internet connection in order to support working from home, online schooling, connecting with distant family, and entertainment. As the threat of COVID-19 continues to impact the health and well-being of both our local citizens and economies, Elevate is doing all that it can to help:

  • Until further notice, Elevate will not disconnect internet service to any customer who is unable to pay their bill. This will remain in effect until further notice or until the State of Emergency has passed.

  • In order to support the increased bandwidth needs of homebound consumers, Elevate has upgraded all residential accounts to its fastest speed, 1,000 Mbps (1 Gig), free of charge. This upgrade is in effect until May 18, 2020, and will be reassessed at that time if the State of Emergency is still in place. Consumers will not be charged for this upgrade, and they will automatically return to their regular speed when the threat has passed.

  • Elevate has set up an assistance fund for consumers who are struggling to pay their bill. Eligible consumers can receive monthly assistance in order to help them continue paying a portion of their bill. This fund will also remain in place until the State of Emergency has passed.

  • With all local schools suspending class, Elevate is offering to connect homes in which students are living for free. In areas where Elevate service is available, Elevate is waiving the installation fee and the cost of the first month of internet service for homes with students.

As a reminder, Elevate’s offices are closed to the public until further notice. However, Elevate is still available to serve consumers and provide all essential services. It can be reached the following ways:
